Classic Terry by Fredi & Sons
What is Terry Fabric?
Terry refers to the traditional fabric used to make towels and typical robes. It is an uncut looping fabric that performs as one of the great absorbent materials. Your typical towel and bathrobe is made from terrycloth. Normally the tighter and longer the loops, the higher the absorbance of the robe or towel is.
If you are looking for a robe to use after showering or bathing, the terry robe made be your best choice. The way our robes are produced allow for the extreme packing of the terrycloth using only the highest of quality methods and procedures in every robe. This allows for a much more absorbent robe than one you will find elsewhere, as well as provide for a longer life of the robe. Fredi & Sons terrycloth is 100% cotton using only natural fabrics.
How is Terrycloth so Absorbent?
Fredi & Sons robes use only the finest materials in production of every single robe. When Fredi & Sons
terrycloth is wet, the fibers get stronger allowing for increased durability and performance. The looped fabric is similar to a sponge and our typical terrycloth robe allows for absorption of up to 30 times its weight in water. The longer the loops the more absorbent the terrycloth is and the softer the feel of the robe will be.
How to wash Terrycloth?
The soft luxurious feel of your
Terry Robe
by Fredi & Sons will preserve its natural condition far longer than any other standard robe. We have spent a lifetime researching the best methods and materials in making the perfect bathrobe.
Use non-chlorine bleach and only when it is needed. Avoid hot or cold temperatures and rinse in cool water. Using too much detergent can cause harm to the terry. Remove and allow for light tumble dry or complete air dry. We suggest washing with similar color towels and cotton articles of clothing.

Microfiber Robe by Fredi & Sons
What is Microfiber?
The
Microfiber Robe
by Fredi & Sons feels like silk and is the most durable robe in our collection. More contemporary than the traditional terry cloth, our microfiber robes have quickly become popular and are the bathrobe of choice for many 5-star resorts.
Microfiber, often spelled
microfibre, or
micro fiber, is the latest in textile technology. The process by which microfibers are created is both complex and amazing; while the final product is close to perfect.
Microfiber is created through the extraction of fine filaments, often finer than 100 times a human hair, and the blend of microscopic polyesters, which create a yarn thinner than cotton and fine silk. These microfiber extractions are then weaved to create fabrics, which feel great, look amazing and perform unlike any other traditional materials.
Famous for its incredible look and feel, our blend of microfiber is waterproof and able to absorb up to 10 times its weight in water. Lightweight and durable, our microfiber robes can withstand up to 50 times the wash-life of a terry cloth robe and still keep its original condition.
Why is Microfiber so great?
Our Microfiber robes are lightweight, resistant to wrinking, durable and feel great. Since microfibers are tiny extracts of fibers (thinner than fine silk), we pack more microfibers together very tightly to form a deep and rich contour. Our microfiber bathrobes allows an ebb and flow motion allowing the robe to breath and move as you wear it.
Waterproof and Wind resistant, this all purpose robe is ideal for any occasion. Whether you are traveling or relaxing in your own home, you must add a Fredi & Sons
Microfiber Robe to your collection. Our robes provide for a more durable and quicker dry than other robes.
Preserving Your Microfiber Robe
Our Microfiber robes are the most durable and luxurious in our collection. Often considered to be our most prized development to-date; our microfiber robes can be washed like any normal article of clothing. Machine wash. Use non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Avoid hot or cold temperatures and rinse in cool water. Using too much detergent can cause harm to the microfiber. Remove and allow for light tumble dry or complete air dry. One incredible feature of our microfiber robe is how quickly it will dry due to its water resistant nature.
