LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles-based hospitality supply company Fredi & Sons announced today the launch of FrediandSons.com.  In a much anticipated upgrade to the site, Fredi & Sons released the beta version of the site in late May, while tests and market studies were being conducted as to the functionality and user friendliness of the site.  A group of randomly selected users were able to see the new site when visiting frediandsons.com and were asked if they would be willing to take a short survey to determine their experience while visiting the site.

“The redesigned Fredi & Sons website is more reflective of our company and our clients.  We had been considering for some time the need to improve and upgrade our online presence, and we finally came up with a product that we felt confident in,” said Korosh Torkzadeh, Director of Marketing. “ By focusing on our customers needs and using what today’s technology has to offer, we were able to determine what we needed to increase our performance online.”

The new Fredi & Sons site in based on the new generation of web technology coined Web 2.0.  “By using Web 2.0 platform, the new technology allows us to organize and categorize our content far more efficiently while also allowing us to further expand and provide services such as RSS feeds, API’s, podcasts, wikis, weblogs and much more,” said Torkzadeh who is also leading the web design team.
